And to know if you can connect to the 4G / LTE network ...
First, you need to check if your SIM card is a USIM type, which is the one that can connect to the 4G / LTE network. To do this, send an SMS to 2266 with the text SIM, just that. You will receive a response shortly.
If the answer is positive, then send another SMS to 2266, but this time with the text LTE. The confirmation message is the following:
‘ETECSA informs: You can use 4G/LTE when you are in a coverage area, configure your phone. For more information, contact 52642266.’"
