Recharging is helping. When you send a mobile recharge, you connect Cubans living on the island with the rest of the world.
Your money becomes phone calls, text messages, or even mobile data—giving your family and friends in Cuba the ability to stay in touch whenever they need to, and access more accurate information about what’s happening in the country and around the world.
Who can send a recharge?
Anyone outside of Cuba with internet access and an accepted payment method can send a recharge.
Accepted payment methods include:
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express)
Prepaid cards
PayPal
Recharge options
You can send a regular recharge any day. However, it's best to take advantage of promotional offers, which usually last 5 to 6 days and happen once or twice a month. These promotions are managed and scheduled by ETECSA, the Cuban mobile provider.
You can also send combined plans, which include:
Mobile data for all networks
National and international minutes
SMS
