Fonoma processes a big amount of recharges every month, practically without any issues. First, we set a payment pre-authorisation and, if the recharge has been sent correctly, then the user is charged for the purchase.
If you pay with a credit card, the payment information doesn't go through Fonoma servers, it goes straight to the payment processing servers (only the last 4 digits of the card are stored and these are in the public domain).
If you are using PayPal, the payment information will be handled by PayPal itself.
