A permanent Nauta account is the most commonly used account to access the Internet in ETECSA WiFi zones, browsing rooms, and Nauta Hogar. It is rechargeable, does not expire as long as it remains active, and allows international Internet browsing billed by the hour.
How to create a permanent Nauta account (step by step)
1. Request the account
Go to an ETECSA Commercial Office or activate it through the Servicios en Línea application.
Present your Cuban ID card (Carné de Identidad) and request a permanent Nauta account for international browsing.
2. Receive your username and password
ETECSA will generate your account with a format similar to:

You must pay 25 CUP, which will be credited as available browsing time.
4. Activate your account in a WiFi zone
Go to an ETECSA WiFi zone, connect to the WiFi_ETECSA network, and log in using your username and password.
You can also activate it from an ETECSA browsing room.
This first login confirms that your account is active and ready to use.
