Keep your contacts organized
Saving contacts in Fonoma helps you send recharges faster and more securely, without having to type the number every time. Keeping your contact list up to date also reduces errors and makes future recharges much easier.
All the contacts you save are synced with your Fonoma account, so you can access them both from the mobile app and the web.
How to add a contact for the first time
Sign up or log in to Fonoma (from the web or the app).
On the home screen, select Send to a new contact.
Enter the contact’s name and phone number.
Tap Save new contact.
Important tips:
Make sure the number is correct before saving.
Do not add the country code +53. Fonoma includes it automatically.
How to edit or delete a contact
You can manage all your contacts from the Contacts section of your account.
Open the side menu and go to Contacts.
Select the contact you want to update or remove.
Choose Edit contact to change the information, or Delete contact to remove it.
Confirm the action when prompted.
Deleting a contact does not affect any past recharges. It only removes the contact from your visible list.
Contacts in the app and synchronization
The first time you use the Fonoma app, you may be asked for permission to sync your phone contacts.
If you allow it, Fonoma will automatically import valid Cuban contacts that can receive recharges.
If you deny this permission, contacts will not appear until you enable synchronization from your device settings.
You can always add, edit, or delete contacts manually from within Fonoma.
Tips and best practices
Deleting a contact does not cancel previous recharges.
Avoid duplicates: editing a contact does not change other contacts with the same number.
If a new contact doesn’t appear, refresh or restart the app.
Always double-check the number before saving to avoid recharge errors.
Troubleshooting contact issues
I can’t add a contact: Make sure the number is in the correct format and does not include the country code.
Changes are not saved: Log out and back in, or update the app to the latest version.
A deleted contact still appears: Refresh the page or restart the app.
If the issue continues, contact Fonoma support or use the Help Center chat.
